Washington Avenue ERM Thrift Store
Do you want to save a little money for clothes or furniture while supporting a worthy cause? Look no further than the Washington Avenue ERM Thrift Store.
Located at 2420 Washington Avenue, our thrift store has a little bit of everything for everyone ranging from gently-used clothing (infant to adult sizes) to furniture pieces, used appliances, linens and a variety of knick-knacks. Our prices are comparable to other thrift stores, if not better.
What makes our thrift store unique is that it is a community of volunteers and residents of our long-term P.A.C.E.S. program who oversee the store’s operations on a day-to-day basis. As a result, our residents learn invaluable retail experience, are given autonomy to make operational decisions and have the opportunity to interact with the general public.
Additionally, you’ll be happy to know your thrift store purchase will directly benefit the different ministries of the Evansville Rescue Mission allowing us the privilege of meeting the needs of the homeless, troubled teenagers, disadvantaged youth, and unfortunate families.
Similar to our Residence Center, we can be a little low on certain items from time to time. All donations can be dropped off at our thrift store during the following holiday business hours:
- Monday: 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday: 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- Thursday: 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- Friday: 9 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
- Sunday: CLOSED
